Mosfilm Cinema Concern is the leading film studio in Russia. Mosfilm catalogue comprises over 1,500 feature films of various genres. Since its foundation 85 years ago more than 2,500 motion pictures were produced by Mosfilm. Many of these films belong to the golden fund of the world cinema, they won numerous awards at different cinema festivals and contests in the home country and abroad. Among them are films by S. Eisenstein, A. Pudovkin, I. Pyrev, M. Romm, M. Kalatozov, A. Tarkovsky, S. Bondarchuk, L. Gaidai, E. Ryazanov, G. Danelia and many other directors.

Implementing the programme of converting its catalogue to digital format of the new generation Mosfilm offers for digital TV feature films in HD cam SR format.

Today Mosfilm is Europe’s largest film studio of vast production potential, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies it provides for production of more than 100 films a year.
