Centre of National Film is one of the biggest film studios of the former Soviet Union. During these years more than 10 thousand science fiction and feature films have been released. Today the CNF is a full-cycle studio working with films from query letters to cinema, video and TV distribution. Since 2004 the CNF has also been releasing animated and feature films. During that period 8 feature films, about 20 animated films, and more than 60 popular-science and documentary films have been created. Among them there are:
- Animation film about first "cosmonauts" "Star Dogs: Belka and Strelka", voiced by: Anna Bolshova, Elena Yakovleva, Evgeny Mironov, Sergey Garmash. First performance in cinemas is planned on 24 December 2009.
- Biographic film about Georg Ots "Georg", the joint project of Estonia, Russia and Finland
- Drama "Open Air" starring Andrey Chadov, Yuriy Kolokolnikov, Egor Tomoshevskiy, Anna Slu.
There are also more than 40 documentaries and short animated projects, among them there is
Popular scientific video reel "I Want to Know Everything" which in a very captivating form acquaints the young audience with the problems of natural sciences and history.
