September 2008 witnessed a ground-breaking deal inked between Paramount Pictures International and Central Partnership.
The parties have concluded an exclusive distribution agreement that covers the former USSR countries, excluding Ukraine and the Baltic states, and became effective January 2009.
The agreement also involves the co-production of feature films in Russia for the local market and, in some cases, for the international market. Apart from that, PPI may distribute Central Partnership's selected titles internationally.
